Located at approximately 3kms from the high way that’s Kabimbiri trading center on Kalagi – Kayunga Road, 200 meters off from Zirobwe Kasawo road to the school.

The school is also situated in Mubanda Village, Kitovu Parish, Kasawo Town Council, and Nakifuma County in Mukono District.

Examinations in Progress.

We provide courses in both the Arts and Science fields for students at two different stages of their education: “O” level (Ordinary Level) and “A” level (Advanced Level). The “O” level typically refers to an earlier stage of secondary education, while the “A” level is usually a more advanced stage that follows after completing the “O” level. In summary, the school has a variety of subjects available in both the Arts (like literature, music, and history) and Sciences (like biology, chemistry, and physics) for students at these levels.

SCHOOL

Background:

The school is a church founded school and was established in 1994 by Mukono Diocese in Kasawo Archdeaconry, Kasawo Parish on a firm foundation like its mother Kasawo Church which was literally built on a rock.

Mathew 16:18 “and I say also to you, that you are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it”

The school offers both Arts and Science subjects at “O” & “A ” level.

Much as it is a church founded school, students of other religious affiliations are welcome.

SPIRITUALLY.
The spiritual nourishment is led by the Bishop of Mukono Diocese, Who appoints and sends a number of clergymen to lead the Chaplaincy Ministry.

The school employs over 38 staff members, teaching and non-teaching staff who are well trained, hardworking, cooperative and devoted to their job.

Mubanda Secondary School prepares the students for Self-reliance and Self-employment by involving students in Practical and Vocational activities/ skills for example Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, Fashion, Art and Design, Computer Studies and so on.
Thus the school struggles to produce students who are job creators but not job seekers.
